My name is Alex and I’m an Anthropologist.
More specifically I study user experience (UX), user interface design (UI), and human/computer interactions (HCI).
During the day I work as a project manager for a web design and development firm and at night I blog about cars. In between, though, I like to help people build better websites, brands, and content and social media strategies.
I earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Anthropology from Michigan State University and a Master’s of Arts in Business Anthropology from Wayne State University. I grew up in the Metro Detroit area. I enjoy home-brewing beer of all varieties, building and racing cars, photography, knitting, and writing pulp-horror and flash fiction. I also collect vintage and antique cameras, books, and the occasional typewriter.
I aspire to be a professional race car driver, but for now I’ll live with it just being an expensive hobby.
